No accounts. No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or advertising identifiers. No third-party SDKs of any kind. Nothing is uploaded to us or to anyone else, because we operate no servers.
That is the whole policy. The rest is detail, because “we collect nothing” deserves specifics rather than assertion.
Your images
When you put an image on air, the file travels directly from your Mac to the Apple TVs on your own local network. It does not pass through the internet, and it does not pass through us.
Aircheck sends the original file unchanged and holds it only while it is on air. Clear it, or quit the Mac app, and it is gone. Nothing is written to disk for later.
What is stored on your devices
- On each Apple TV: your viewing mode (Fit, 1:1 or Fill) and your screen saver preference.
- On your Mac: a single flag recording whether an Apple TV has ever been seen, which decides whether the app explains itself on first run.
Both are ordinary local preferences. Deleting the app removes them.
Local network permission
macOS asks your permission for Aircheck to find devices on your local network. It uses this for exactly one thing: letting the Mac and your Apple TVs discover each other. It does not scan your network, enumerate other devices, or record anything about them.
Children
Aircheck is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
